Erstmals wird die EU-Kommission eine Strafe gegen Apple verhängen. Das Technologieunternehmen soll den Musikstreamingmarkt verzerrt haben. Die Geldbuße in Höhe von 500 Millionen Euro ist der Höhepunkt einer Kartelluntersuchung der Europäischen Kommission, bei der es um die Frage geht, ob Apple seine eigene Plattform genutzt hat, um seine Dienste gegenüber denen der Konkurrenz zu bevorzugen. Die Strafe soll laut Insidern Anfang März offiziell verkündet werden, die wie "Financial Times" berichtet.
