Wien - "Das alltägliche Leben aus Blickwinkeln wie Modernität, Heimat, Fremde, Migration und Ungerechtigkeit beleuchten" wollen vom 20. bis 23. Mai Dokumentarfilme im Rahmen der diesjährigen "Ethnocineca" in Wien. Die Filmschau wurde vom Institut für Kultur- und Sozialanthropologie der Uni Wien initiiert.
Die Ethnocineca führt die Zuschauer diesmal auf eine Weltreise von "Wordpower" über "Friedhöfe" bis hin zu "Gandhis Kinder" und setzt sich in den verschiedensten visuellen Ausführungen mit Kultur- und Sozialanthropologie auseinander. Die 22 ausgewählten Filme werden im Kosmos Theater und im Cafe Siebenstern gezeigt. An jedem Abend wird einer der Filmemacher anwesend sein.
Heuer erhalten die Besucher erstmals auch die Möglichkeit, selbst Produzenten zu werden: Im diesjährigen Rahmenprogramm des Filmfestes wird in Kooperation mit "Soho in Ottakring" ein Workshop mit dem Motto "Arbeiten oder nicht arbeiten" zur Herstellung eines dokumentarischen Kurzfilmbeitrages angeboten. Die daraus entstehenden Filme werden am letzten Programmtag auf Leinwand projiziert. (APA)
