Das Fazit
Nach genauer Analyse der Einzelkomponenten kamen die Tester zu dem Ergebnis, dass die Preise für brauchbare Notebooks derzeit extrem niedrig sind. Zwar dürfe man für 1000 Euro keine Wunder erwarten, doch Display-Qualität, gute Akkuleistungen und Ausstattung überraschten positiv. Auch die Niedrigpreis-Modelle klettern preislich rasch nach oben, wenn bessere Komponenten gewählt werden. Für Office-, Internet- und Multimedia-Anwendungen reichen diese Laptops allerdings locker aus. Die Preisgrenze für akzeptable Notebooks liegt, laut c`t bei 900 Euro. Das Acer- sowie das Fujitsu-Siemens-Modell konnten die Tester in ihrer Basis-Konfiguration vom Preis-/Leistungs-Verhältnis am meisten überzeugen. Beim ThinkPad beklagten die Tester mangelnde Port-Ausstattung, das iBook sticht zwar wegen seiner Akku-Leistung hervor, ist aber relativ teuer. Das Sony- wie auch besonders das HP-Modell waren den Testern für das Gebotene zu teuer.(red)
