Raiffeisen Asset Management announced that the assets of the two investment funds managed by the company have increased by 80 per cent to a total of RON 30 million (EUR 8.5 million). The funds are the first in Romania that invest in shares listed on foreign stock exchanges.Raiffeisen Prosper equity fund saw a yield of 7.68 per cent two months from its launch, and the other fund, Raiffeisen Benefit, investing mainly in shares, witnessed an increase of 4.35 per cent in its fund unit. Raiffeisen has invested a total of RON 16.7 million (EUR 4.7 million) to set up the two funds. Raiffeisen Capital Management, Raiffeisen Banks investment management division is the biggest fund manager in Austria, with assets of about EUR 37 billion.
