Car retailer Porsche Romania estimates that its turnover will grow by 10 per cent this year, from EUR 658 million to around EUR 725 million."Porsches turnover is bound to rise by some 10 per cent next year in line with market growth, but this is expected to shrink amid fiercer pricing in the segment," stated Brent Valmar, general manager of Porsche Romania. The company is the local subsidiary of the Austrian Porsche Holding. It imports models produced by Volkswagen, Audi, SEAT, Skoda and Porsche. "Calculating the sales registered by each brand, the total numbers of sales amount to 43,000 units. Skoda has sold some 20,000 cars in 2006, followed by Volkswagen, which sold 14,000 cars," Valmar added. www.porscheromania.ro
