Director of the Bosnia and Herzegovina (BH) Foreign Investment Promotion Agency (FIPA) Haris Basic participated on June 29 in the Vienna Economic Forum, FIPA website reported. He presented tourism and investment opportunities of BH.

In an address to representatives of the European Investment Bank, Council of Europe Development Bank, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, as well as with the managers of successful companies, Basic spoke about the favourable investment climate in the two federal entities of BH – Republic of Srpska and BH Federation.

According to the official website of the Forum, its principal objectives are popularising and promoting investment opportunities in the region from the Adriatic to the Black Sea – Albania, BH, Bulgaria, Croatia, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia and Turkey.

The Vienna Economic Forum strives to become a venue of realising public and private interests in connection with the various projects in this region.

It was founded in April 2004 by some of the most reputable companies and entrepreneurs in Austria. President of Vienna Economic Forum is the former Vice Chancellor of Austria, Dr. Erhard Busek, Special Coordinator of the Stability Pact for South Eastern Europe.
